Pilot projects are often an important factor in guaranteeing the success of a new treatment plan. Osorno will always begin a new task by performing testing in one of our well-equipped laboratories, usually through a full water quality assessment study. This is often followed by a pilot study, either upon Osorno's recommendation in the assessment report, or the request of the client or their consulting engineer.
Pilot projects serve to confirm a proposal's viability and scalability. They enable for the proposed processes and procedures to be tested, both for appropriateness and safety. Furthermore, pilot projects confirm which work practices are safe and comply with organizational and statutory standards. In addition, they also enable for the benefits of the main project to be tested. All of these factors allow for a more reliable investment appraisal to be created for the main project.
